Numerous, spurless, yellow flowers with a pink tinge top the semi-evergreen foliage. Leaves are copper-tinted in the spring, green in the summer, and turn to hues of bronze and red as the season cools.

Epimedium cantabrigiense is a cross between E. alpinum and E. pubigerum.
Grows best in a average to moist, well-drained soil, in partial shade. Epimedium spread by rhizomes and are slow to establish. Once established, they make a tidy, ground cover for dry, shady locations. Pruning in late winter will encourage fresh leaves and profuse flowers.
